"I
love to make people happy through music.
Music heals me, so in
turn I would like
to think that
music helps
others to heal as well. Jupiter Hollow's music is
a catalyst towards
that end."
When did you start playing music and what made
you start?
Music was always a part of my life. My father played
5 string banjo and harmonica, my brother played
guitar, and my mother was an
avid Motown fan. Lots of bluegrass, soul and British
invasion music flowed through my head as a child.
I started playing my brother's right-handed
guitars at around 6 or 6 years of age.
How long have you played with Jupiter Hollow?
I'm a founding member of the original group, Sojourn
(1992).
What were some of your most memorable gigs?
- Opening for JGB (Lawrence, KS)

- playing with Legion of Mary (Springfield, MO)
What other bands and musicians have influenced or inspired
you?
My mother and father. African, Cuban, Brazilian music,
Pat Metheny, Jean Luc-Ponty, George Duke, Grateful Dead, many
others.

Brazilian music (circa '70) Jorge Ben, Cactano Veloso,

What are your other interests besides music?
